TAGANGA

To reach Taganga you will need to arrive in Santa Marta, the big city and then you will travel by bus or car for 40 minutes, then you will arrive in Taganga. Taganga is a neighborhood of Santa Marta.

In Santa Marta you can take a bus from the market and  you will arrive in Taganga, it is one of the neighbouring towns of Santa Marta and it has a village ambience.

From here you can organize tours: diving, tramping and other activities. Tairona park is very popular and worth a visit.

The village has only a main street where you can find restaurants, tourism agencies and on the street lot of handycrafts.

there are different possibilities of where you can stay, small hotels, hostels for backpackers, luxury hotels, camping sites or if you enjoy sleeping under the stars you can hire a hammock and still be able to use the bathroom and the kitchen facilities,  We got a cheap hostel with a bathroom a fan and the possibility to use the kitchen.

In Taganga you can find people from all over the world at any time, for this reason you won’t have problems communicating because there will be a pot pouri of languages being spoken.

Night time in Taganga is very interesting, there are bars and restaurants with shows and street artists thoughout the whole week.
